Hello!!! If you like my art, feel free to fav and add as buddy. I will say that my updates are at random. Sometimes I submit 2-3 times a day. Other times it's maybe once a month, or two or three months. But patience is always a good thing. I'll do my best as a sheezyart user to please my viewers as best and as often as I can.
New Year's Resolutions for 2010posted Dec 31st 2009, 10:44AM
Mood: Hopeful
A new year has already passed. In fact, a new decade's passed when you think about it. But there's certainly a lot I want to improve on in my life...
1. I WILL DRAW MORE
- I'm not just putting this one first cuz it's sheezyart. Let's face it. My closing college year left me little time to practice my first passion, much less submit anything. And I feel terrible because I've promised artwork to many fans, and I'm sorry for the neglection. So this I'll do my best to accomplish (and I'll have you guys to hold me accountable when a deadline's coming up, ).
So let's set a number: 5 drawings a month. That's a good start, don't ya think?
*gulp*
2. I WILL DROP 10 POUNDS THIS YEAR
- Isn't this the typical resolution? Well, it only makes sense, since we've had Christmas and Thanksgiving and whatnot. At one point I was over 20 pounds overweight. And according Wii Fit, my body is 40 years old, lol. Granted it's a videogame, I need to be more active. So carrots and celery, here I come.
3. I WILL MAINTAIN A WELL ORGANIZED SCHEDULE
- Rather than ignore other responsibilities to do others just because it's in the moment and if I don't do it now, I'll never do it... -.-;;
This one will help my other resolutions for sure. I will get myself a nice planner and update it everyday (like the ones from Franklin). I'm very spontaneous and though I believe a little keeps you sane, a little organization wouldn't have hurt either.
AND, I will actually do what I plan. (This resolution's going to be difficult)
4. I WILL READ MORE OFTEN
- Thanks to school, I loathe the act of reading. But I know how important it is, and perhaps since I've graduated and am out of school, I can remind myself what it's like to enjoy reading again. So each month, I will read a book, plus study a book in my Bible (Even though I'm Christian, I have yet to read the whole Bible. Am I terrible or what?). There are books on my bookshelf that I have yet to start reading and by next year, I'll either sell them or read through them all.
I'd also like to re-read some books on my shelf too.
5. I WILL BUILD BETTER RELATIONSHIPS
- My personality is not the most outgoing. I envy those who have that charm and charisma, because that's so important in businesses. What good are gifts and ideas if you don't know how to present them? This year, I will get myself to be more outgoing and get out of my comfort zone more. Smile, shake hands, and have good conversations with strangers, even though I am nervous beyond imagine. This resolution also includes talking more with current friends as well and going out more. It's something I've really missed doing and I want to get more involved with people again.
So there you have it. My top 5 resolutions for 2010. This alone is going to keep me busy, and I didn't even mention my needing to get a new job. But I really feel improving these things can help with many things I'm facing right now.
Here's to a new decade: 2010...
Let's all work to make it better than the last.
It's always a pain for someone to accuse you of being homophobic just for simply disagreeing with a choice of action or life style. I was reading you forum replies within the Homosexuality thread. Good stuff! And nice art by the way!
I'm so glad someone in the forum knows how to respect differences (I felt they were cornering me, lol). Good to hear my point was made and had no intent on offending people. Thanks for the compliment.
Got here via O.M.A's page. Looked around your gallery, I like what I see here. You're really good, think I'm gonna stick around here and see what else you come up with.
